Experience the stunning river scenery and the majesty of Manavgat Waterfall for a glorious day along the River Manavgat. From the city of Manavgat River Cruise begins (transportation with/to Alanya is included). You will see many tiny turtles swimming on the shore in tree branches as you pass through the clear waters. You will sunbathe on the top of the ship and relax with cool cooling brises, surrounded by the beautiful scenery. There is a nice sandy beach at the end of the river Manavgat which distinguishes the Mediterranean Sea from the shore. Cold freshwater blends with hot salty seawater in this extraordinary location.
You can see a lovely waterfall on the river of Manavgat after lunch on the ferry. It is located 3 km north of Manavgat, not far from the old city of Side. The waterfall is approximately 40 m long. Although it occurs at low altitude (about 3 m), Manavgat Waterfall's white spray water flows heavily over the cliffs. Shady tea garden, fish cafe, coffee shops and souvenir shops by the waterfall make it a great spot to relax. During this journey, you can visit the village of Manavgat and its mosque (one of the biggest on the Mediterranean coast in Turkey with four minarets and impressive decoration), which has the third-largest village of Antalya (after Antalya and Alanya). There is a major bazaar every Thursday in Manavgat, particularly the bazaar for fruits and vegetables, which makes you feel the oriental atmosphere.
